Characteristics and Traits of Shiba Inu Dogs
Why does Japan love these pets? It is because of the Shiba Inu’s outgoing personality, convenient size and good nature. Due to its growing popularity, only a few are seen to set foot in Japan. These dogs are very hard to train but with firmness and consistency, you might get a great response from them.
Fearful people are not good for these dogs because they have the spirit of large animals even though they have a small body. Shiba Inu puppies are quite loyal and have a very good sense. However, human interaction should be given so you should not leave them alone. They have a unique sound, which is more like of a “yodel”. Barking is not that of a nature of these dogs, but watch out if they do bark because it is more of a special reason.
Because of the pretty appearance of these puppies, they attract dog owners who are unaware of the different problems in raising and keeping this breed. The usual colors of these dogs are orange or red, on white background. Black, salt and pepper, black and white or black and tan are some available colors. The fur is of medium length and it provides them a look that is more like a fox.
The foxy expression, slanted eyes and deep red color are the traits why these Shiba Inu puppies are being bred down. They also have a trail. These trails curl over their back in a manner that is more of spitz-type. But you do not breed a Shiba Inu just because of appearance. You breed them because of their personality of being a loving and caring one in spite of their stubborn personality. Also, it will be a great reward for you to have a bonding time with this kind of dog.
